My sister Dawn, who is a professional jazz singer and I recently auditioned for The Voice in Los Angeles. I have always loved singing and sung in church as well as the shower. I actually have been told that I have a very good voice. My sister Dawn had persuaded me to go with her and try out. I love new experiences and new challenges and my faith said "go". Tired, after only getting three hours of sleep the night before, we set out to drove from South Pasadena to downtown LA. Nothing prepared us for what we both experienced yesterday at The Voice tryouts.
